SEO Positive Responds to Importance of Customer Reviews for Mobile Commerce

(PRWEB UK) 16 April 2013

26% of consumers access customer reviews and consumer conversions on mobile devices for PC World and Currys, reports Econsultancy.

In data from Revoos retailer and brand clients, 25% of consumers receiving post purchase requests to provide a review or answer a question via email, responded via mobile. In September 2011, this was only 8% – showing a growth of 212% in 18 months.

Added to this, a much higher propensity to purchase is seen after consumers access reviews on mobile devices.

Ben Austin, Managing Director at SEO Positive, has responded to the data with interest:

Reviews have become increasingly important for consumers when deciding on a purchase. By offering this on an easy to use mobile format as well, you offer a better overall mobile experience and increase chances of mobile sales which may be more impulsive than desktop purchases. With figures showing an increasing mobile response, it is essential to make your mobile platform as seamless as possible.
