In the US, 15.9 percent of men said that they were interested in using their phone to make purchases, compared to just 13.3 percent of women. Figures followed suit in the United Kingdom too, with 12 percent of men wanting to shop online and only 10.3 percent of women. The study also found that men were more likely to purchase goods impulsively on mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.
