PR Workshop: Story telling for your business

Positive PR can benefit all organisations and for early stage businesses PR can be a cost effective way to:

  • Raise your profile to potential investors
  • Promote new products or services
  • Support your recruitment drive
  • Attract target stakeholders such as collaborative businesses

Successful PR activity isn’t accidental. It is always centred on a ‘good old story’ or what we also call content and is (nearly) always planned.

This workshop is designed to help you develop your story and tell it to the right audiences. We will aim to cover:

  • What’s the point?
  • Seven story plotlines
  • Your characters
  • Your plot
  • Your audience
  • Your story into useful content
  • Good and bad case studies

By equipping yourself with the core skills to create your business story, you will be able to get your own PR activity underway and help raise the profile of your business, products and services.

The workshop is being run by PR specialist Lis Anderson and Mel Beeby Clarke from AMBITIOUS – a PR and content marketing consultancy specialising in working with entrepreneurial, fast growth businesses and organisations.
