Small Army, the Boston-based marketing and creative service agency, has won two awards in The Web Marketing Association’s 11th annual WebAward Competition for outstanding web site development.
Small Army was awarded a “Best” in the Medical Equipment category for their work with Cynosure.com, a leading developer and manufacturer of a broad array of light-based aesthetic and medical treatment systems.
The agency was also recognized with Standard of Excellence honors for the Raytheon site.
The WebAward competition judged more than 2,000 web sites from around the globe in over 90 industry categories. Entries were evaluated on top web site design, copy writing, innovation, content, interactivity, navigation, and use of technology.
“Web sites are critical marketing tools for establishing and deepening the conversation with customers and prospects” said Jeff Freedman, Small Army co-founder and marketing, “Being recognized for enhancing our clients’ impact in this space is very meaningful to us.”
The WebAwards were judged by a team of independent Internet professionals representing a variety of relevant disciplines of Web site development and included members of the media, advertising executives, web site designers, creative directors, corporate marketing executives, content providers and webmasters.
