Join Social Media Club of Chicago's "Masters Series" event on October 28th featuring Rick Wion the former head of social media for McDonalds.

Rick will discuss “Earned Media vs Pay to Play Smackdown: Who wins and loses in the world of influencers and content marketing versus programmatic advertising.” The talk will be followed by interview style questions from the SMC board members drilling down into the topic. We will also discover how Rick became the lead Social Media Marketer at one of the largest and most recognized restaurant chains in the world.

Plus, we're getting into the spirit of Halloween, so costumes are encouraged!

About Rick Wion

Rick Wion is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Manifest Social — A collective of former Social Execs from Fortune 100 companies committed to solving the unique challenges of complex social at scale.

Rick is also the former head of social media at McDonalds where he oversaw social efforts for marketing campaigns, long-term branding, issues management customer service and employee engagement.
