On June 9th, learn how to further expand your Digital Marketing strategies with two half-day hands-on workshops to choose from – presented by Camp Tech.     Morning Session (9am to noon) –  Online Marketing with Google AdWords Registration Opens: 8:30AM (includes hot breakfast) You’ve probably heard that online marketing can be great for your business… but where to start? Search Engine Marketing (and particularly Paid Search using Google’s AdWords system) is a great way to increase traffic to your website and generate leads, even on a small budget. You will learn how to setup an ad campaign using AdWords, and create a powerful ad with copy that works. You’ll learn targeting and bidding techniques to get in front of your ideal audience, how to setup and manage high performing keyword lists, and how to track and analyze your ad campaigns. This class is perfect for beginners looking to dip their toes into the world of online marketing. No former marketing or AdWords knowledge is necessary! NOTE:  LAPTOP COMPUTERS ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS CLASS. NOTE:  TO USE GOOGLE ADWORDS YOU MUST ALREADY HAVE A WORKING WEBSITE.     Afternoon Session (1:30pm to 4:30pm) –  Business Blogging & Content Marketing Registration Opens: 12:45pm (includes lunch) Savvy business owners and marketers know that business blogging is an essential part of a modern digital marketing strategy. So why does it often fall to the bottom of the priority list? In this class, you’ll discover exactly what blogging and content marketing can do for your business or organization and how to create your own unique voice in a crowded space. Learn the secrets of writing content that will attract new business, and setting up an editorial schedule that is actually manageable. Understand how to recruit and work with the best guest bloggers and top influencers, and how to host contests and giveaways. And finally, discover how to measure your blog’s performance, so you know what’s working as you blog your way to business success.  NOTE:  LAPTOP COMPUTERS AREN’T ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY FOR THIS WORKSHOP, BUT THEY ARE WELCOME IF YOU WANTED TO FOLLOW ALONG.   About Our Speakers: Geoff Marcy (Google AdWords) Geoff has a passion for launching world class digital advertising campaigns and helping innovative, disruptive businesses acquire new customers at scale. He is the former Director of MediaTrust and has over 10 years of experience in online marketing. Wendy Kam Marcy (Business Blogging & Content Marketing) Wendy has been working in the online marketing and advertising industry for 8 years. Spending most of that time on the corporate side, she left the rat race in 2010 to become the Managing Partner at Adfluent Media, an ad agency that specializes in lead generation and affiliate marketing.
