Steve Jobs explains the rules for success

You need a lot of passion for what you’re doing because its so hard. Without passion, any rational person would give up. So if youre not having fun doing it, if you dont absolutely love it, youre going to give up. And thats what happens to most people, actually. If you look at the ones that ended up being successful in the eyes of society, often times its the ones who love what they do, so they could persevere when it got really tough. And the ones that didnt love it, quit. Because theyre sane, right? Who would put up with this stuff if you dont love it? So its a lot of hard work and its a lot of worrying constantly. If you dont love it, youre going to fail.

  1. All the tech toys this guy has he is dead. Life is more than making tech toys. These technologies now go to WAR ROOMs to be put in hi-tech murder machines. I don’t know. We are said to have more PHDs in this world than ever b4 with Israel pumping out PHDs like the Bx produces GEDs and yet, everything is worse than ever b4. Something is dead wrong. You have Gates now advocating death panels and drones are killing off Americans with no charges, no court rm & no answers. SMART? OK.

  8. So, what’s more important than achieving one’s goal or not achieving it, is that they survive and go on with life. Instead of running after some super dream. THAT is what I call extraordinary. Understanding life and getting on with it. Just do something. Small jobs big jobs don’t matter. I don’t care if you wash dishes or run a company for a living. You don’t fuck people or wine about how unhapphy you are with your work. Feel good you don’t have to live in Africa.

  9. There is no such thing as a rule for success. There is only hardcore requirements such as knowing right people, having right connections, lots of luck, natural born skills and talent, high levels of intelligence and tremendous amounts of enthusiasm to drive you towards your goal. If you even slightly lack just one of these requirements you probably won’t achieve anything extraordinary. Life is not a Peter Pan story. All those people who give up have good reasons for doing so. They’re not stupid.
