Their project for the year was to compete in the Google Online Marketing Challenge (GOMC). The students worked with 8 local and international nonprofit groups to develop their projects. Through the GOMC, Walton students competed against teams from around the world to learn, create, and execute Google AdWords campaigns for these nonprofits.
