Come join Time Warner, the Film Lab and the New York Indian Film Festival ("NYIFF") for this informational on getting distribution for your film or TV show.  Moderated by Adam Moore, the national director of EEO & Diversity for SAG-AFTRA, the panelists will include Shiladitya Bora, James Liao and EnMaze Pictures LLC's Director of Distribution.  If you're curious about how to get your TV show or film distrubuted, this panel is for you!  It will be followed by a light luncheon and networking opportuntities with other filmmakers, the panelists, the President of the Asian American Film Lab, the Exceutive Director of NYIFF, and representatives from Time Warner.  

More about the panelists and moderator:Moderator:Adam Moore is National Director of EEO & Diversity for SAG-AFTRA. Since joining Screen Actors Guild in 2005 as Associate National Director of Affirmative Action and Diversity, he has been responsible for developing and implementing a national diversity plan of action to achieve accurate representation of those groups historically excluded from the entertainment and news media. Such efforts include the creation of educational programs, conferences, and workshops; development of public relations strategies; and the enforcement of non-discrimination and diversity provisions as outlined in the Union’s contracts. He has facilitated scores of panel discussions for various film festivals and industry organizations, as well as city, state and federal agencies, and guest lectured at colleges and high schools throughout the United States. His insight and perspective has appeared in numerous publications and research papers around the world. He is proud to have served on President Barack Obama’s Disability Policy Committee during the 2008 Presidential Election and as liaison to the New York City Task Force on Diversity in Film, Television and Commercial Production. Born in Ames, Iowa, and raised in California’s Bay Area, Moore has spent the past 14 years in New York and currently lives with his wife and son in the Lower Hudson Valley.
Panelists:1.  Shiladitya BoraA director, producer and distributor known for establishing PVR's Director's Rare, India's leading indie release banner. He has recently launched Long Live Cinema – an integrated filmed entertainment company with a core focus on distribution and syndication of motion pictures across all platforms and languages. Long Live Cinema is the distributor of the much acclaimed Venice winner ‘Court’ in India.  At PVR, he facilitated the theatrical release and distribution of more than 84 independent films within India. Director's Rare remains the only distribution platform to have released feature length documentaries (Fire in the Blood, Supermen of Malegaon etc.) and short films (Shorts, Shuruvat Ka Interval etc.) in the country.  Shiladitya holds a masters degree in communication management and entrepreneurship from Asia's premiere media school Mudra Institute of Communications Ahmedabad. While a student, he started an entertainment startup called FulMarxx for which he was bestowed MICA award for creative entrepreneurial excellence in 2008.  He will be making his directorial debut this year with a political thriller titled Minefield. The film was a finalist at the prestigious NFDC Film Bazaar Co-Production Market in 2014. James S. J. Liao is president of Salem Consultants Inc., a management consulting firm performing outsourced financial and business advisory services. In addition, Liao is an adjunct professor lecturing on in International Business and Management at Skidmore College.  Previously, Liao was vice president and general manager of Crossings TV for stations in New York City and Chicago. Crossings TV’s group of stations nationwide fulfills the entertainment and information needs of Asian American communities providing distribution and programming in such foreign languages as Chinese, South Asian, Filipino, and Russian.  He currently consults with Energize NY, a community-based energy efficiency program operating within the Energy Improvement Corp. (EIC), a New York State local development corporation (www.energizeny.org).  He has also served as an executive at The Municipal Art Society of New York, The Jockey Club and Christiansen Capitol Advisors LLC. He also served as a director of fiduciary and financial auditing at Siemens Corp., manager of financial and litigation services at Touche Ross & Co., and vice president of Asia-Pacific and Europe for Manufacturers Hanover Leasing Corp.  Liao earned his M.B.A. in finance from New York University and his bachelor’s degree in finance (Magna Cum Laude) from Fordham University.  He worked with the Asian American Film Lab to distribute the TV series Film Lab Presents on the CrossingsTV platform.
