Terry Spilde Named Vice President of Ideation and Innovation at Gigunda Group, Inc.

Spilde will be responsible for spearheading creative processes agency-wide, including facilitating brainstorms and leading the integration of the newest technologies, applications and emerging trends into the agencys practices. He will report to Doug Dome, President and Chief Creative Officer of Gigunda. Named PROMO Magazines Creative Agency of the Year in 2008, Gigunda is an innovative experiential marketing agency based in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Spilde comes to Gigunda from Omnicoms GMR Marketing, where he was the agencys Executive Creative Director for twelve years and produced award-winning campaigns for clients including Microsoft, Intel, McDonalds, Mercedes, Philip Morris, Nokia, Dodge/Chrysler, Gillette, Wrigley, Miller Coors, Bank of America, T-Mobile, MLB, Kraft/Oscar Meyer, NFL Networks, HBO, ESPN, Ask.com, TLC channel, Lufthansa Airlines, Best Buy, and Lowes Home Improvement. During his tenure at GMR, the agency grew from $ 18.2 million in revenue to more than $ 120 million.

Prior to working at GMR, Spilde was the associate publisher of the satirical newspaper The Onion, where he was responsible for taking the publication online. Before that, he was a Program Director in radio and theatre.

Spilde has received numerous awards and accolades throughout his career. He was recognized as a key contributor when GMR was named Agency of the Year by PROMO Magazine in 2002, as well as in 2001 when they were named Marketer of the Year for the launch of Xbox and Pepsi Code Red. He has also been a judge for numerous marketing-industry awards programs, including the Reggie Awards and the Pro Awards.

Spilde earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in Journalism/Advertising and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He and his wife, MK, will be relocating to New Hampshire from their home in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin.
