(FREDERICSKBURG, VA) Hard Times Cafe-Four Mile Fork will host the 6th Annual Rockabilly Hot Rod Rumble After-Show to benefit MANARC and Veterans Moving Forward (VMF) on Saturday, October 10 beginning at 6 p.m. Earlier that day, the Karb Kings Central VA will be hosting the Hot Rod Rumble Car Show at the Fredericksburg Fairgrounds from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m

The line up for the after-show will consist of four bands, Trio Agave, Straight 8’s, Bottle Cap Rockets, and regional-national act, Gas House Gorillas. The band’s style of music ranges from surf to rockabilly, this event will give guests a chance to experience the classic car club and rockabilly culture. The cost of the event is at the door, starting at 7 p.m.

Additionally, Hard Times Cafe will host a, “Miss Stars and Stripes” contest for lady contestants and is open to the public. Contestants are encouraged to dress in their best classy pin-up, patriotic or military attire. Each contestant has the opportunity to win the crown, along with cash and prizes. Contestants sign up starts at 6 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m.

The “Miss Stars and Stripes” contestants will have the responsibility of collecting money in the 50/50 raffle. The amount collected by each contestant will have an impact on their overall scoring. The total amount collected from the raffle will be split between the ticket winner and MANARC.

The contestants will be collecting donations from the beginning of the event until the raffle winner is called at 12:30 a.m. along with the “Miss Stars and Stripes” winners. The 1st place contestant wins 0 and 2nd place wins gift certificate to Hard Times-Four Mile Fork and 2 tickets to The Fighting Jamesons concert with The Blues Buckets on October 17.

Fifty percent of raffle tickets sales will go to benefit MANARC, Borne the Battle which is a 501 © (3) non-profit thrift store operating on donations from the community with the express purpose of providing support to established veterans organizations. MANARC will donate a portion of their proceeds to benefit Veterans Moving Forward (VMF).
