Personal branding is now a formal strategy rather than a passive reputational aggregate.
Anyone in or aspiring to a senior role, with a portfolio career, or in career transition needs to be aware of the value of personal branding. For consultants, coaches and advisors who are appointed on the basis of personal reputation and past performance it is vital.
Why? Because a brand value will be associated with who you are and the problems you solve; senior people now need to have a clear and potent message beyond their CV. With most recruitment sourcing being web-driven, we all need to have our message out there, whether we are an IT consultant, a finance director or simply looking for your next role.
In this presentation David Rigby and Ed Lobbett will show where personal branding is already important and how it is used by our target audience.
In particular they will discuss:
- Personal branding in overview
- Personal brand breakdown
- Relevance – Who and Why?
- Content marketing
- Social Media
