Yonkers-based hip-hop collective The LOX are a talent unmatched in the hip-hop game. Comprised of SheekLouch, Styles P, and Jadakiss, The LOX entered the scene in 1997, after Mary J. Blige passed on their mixtape to Sean "P. Diddy" Combs. He collaborated with them on the single "It's All About The Benjamins", garnering the trio national attention. He signed them to Bad Boy Records where their debut album Money, Power & Respect went platinum in 1998, peaking at #3 on the Billboard 200 chart and was ranked #1 on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums.
The LOX were featured on the multi-platinum single "We'll Always Love Big Poppa", a tribute to The Notorious B.I.G., as well as the Grammy Award-winning album No Way Out.
Their follow-up album We Are The Streets peaked at #5 on the Billboard 200 chart and #2 on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. We Are The Streets is certified gold.
