Event on 2013-09-26 11:00:00

Over the next 30 to 40 years, -136 trillion in financial and non-financial assets is expected to pass from the Baby Boomers to their heirs in North America. How can nonprofits engage this new generation of younger, more tech savvy donors? Today’s donor is more connected to and reliant on technology than ever before. Some of the ways to fundraise are being changed by – and enhanced by – the Internet, social networks and mobile devices. How is your organization adapting to these advancements in fundraising? In this session, you’ll walk away with a better understanding of the latest reliable tools available to nonprofits for fundraising on your organization’s website or within social networks (crowdfunding). You’ll be empowered to make strategic choices about the fundraising tools that will best serve your constituents and help you meet your goals. You’ll learn how to provide your donors and prospective donors with new online tools that can make it easier for them to donate.

Participants should have a cursory knowledge of the Internet, websites and social networks and be familiar with how their organization is currently fundraising.
