Think Global, Act Local – eCommerce for International Fashion Trade
Event on 2014-07-15 09:00:00

This event is for Fashion and Retail sector companies based in London and the South East only.

The time for fashion companies to sell online is now.

British companies are using our highly developed online market to take full advantage of international opportunities. In 2013 Google calculated that the UK was the world’s leading exporter of goods purchased online, with a trade surplus of over US billion. British Retail Consortium research has also shown huge increases in overseas searches for UK Brands.

UK Trade & Investment want to help your company successfully tap into this trend.

This event aims to empower delegates with knowledge of e-tail options, and how to build a strategy for social engagement in different target markets. Delegates will learn how to analyse and assess market opportunities and consider how to reach target customers.

You will hear from E-commerce professionals, legal professionals, international trade advisors and a business case study, including:

  • Michael Harte – Field Fisher Waterhouse
  • Steven Hope – UK Trade & Investment London
  • Jo Musaki – eShopworld
  • Anant Sharma – Matter of Form
  • Danny Richman – SEO expert

 Other topics covered include:

  • How to choose e-commerce platforms
  • Using Social Media to increase sales
  • Using data
  • Fulfilments and distribution

There will also be opportunities to network with buyers, suppliers, and trade advisors from UK Trade & Investment.
