ThreatMetrix Chief Technology Officer Named to BankInfoSecurity Board of Advisers

Cybercrime is constantly evolving, so it can be difficult to keep up with the latest threats to financial institutions, said Baumhof. With more than a decade of cybersecurity experience, Baumhof most recently served as executive director, CEO and co-founder of TrustDefender – an Australian-based provider of security and fraud detection technologies prior to its acquisition by ThreatMetrix. He also previously served as a co-founder and chief technology officer of Mircodasys Inc., and developed the first SSL proxy. He has patents pending in Europe and the U.S. for his cybersecurity innovations.
