More than 1000 small entrepreneurs are expected to attend BizTechDay 2009, a business conference focused on helping small businesses and entrepreneurs to leverage the latest technology and trends to innovate and grow in this economic downturn.
BizTechDay is a two-day intensive learning experience that will feature more than 40 speakers from Google, Yelp, Comcast , Digg, Virgin America, WordPress, Elance, the office of Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and many other technology and business thought leaders who will share business and technology strategies.
BizTechDay Keynote speakers include Founder of Craigslist.org, Craig Newmark, Founder of Match.com, Will Bunker, New York Times bestselling author of eMyth, Michael Gerber, New York Times bestselling author of The 4-Hour Workweek Tim Ferriss and Founder of Digg, Kevin Rose.

“I hear from businesses all the time looking specifically for this kind of help. Small business owners will definitely benefit from an event like this” said Gary Marshall of the San Francisco Small Business Administration district office.
BizTechDay will also feature the popular Genius Hour where attendees learn directly from business and technology experts in formatted, facilitated and timed sessions. Genius Hour offers a great learning opportunity for attendees as well as incredible exposure for the presenters, who are often also small business owners.
“I firmly believe that when entrepreneurs get together, amazing things happen. Together at BizTechDay, we will inspire, learn and truly connect with each other.” said Edith Yeung, Executive Producer of the BizTechDay Conference.
“We know entrepreneurs can make magic happen when they turn their dreams into real action. BizTechDay fosters a spirit of camaraderie, community and entrepreneurship like no other event. We are excited to become the presenting sponsor for this great conference.” said Mark O’Leary, Regional Vice President of Business Services for Comcast’s California Region.
BizTechDay is a business strategy conference launched in 2008 in San Francisco. The 2008 conference attracted more than 550 entrepreneurs and featured Tim Ferriss, bestselling author behind the “4-Hour Workweek”; George Wright, the marketing genius behind the ‘Will it Blend’ YouTube campaign and Scott Heiferman, Founder of Meetup.com.
BizTechDay was founded by Edith Yeung, a small business marketing consultant and the organizer of the San Francisco Entrepreneur Meetup Group with over 2600 members.
