San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) March 02, 2015
Addvocate and Trapit, leaders in content marketing and employee advocacy software, today announced that Henry Nothhaft, Jr. has been appointed CEO of Trapit following the successful completion of the Addvocate and Trapit merger announced in 2014. Prior to being named CEO, Nothhaft was co-founder and chief product officer at Trapit. The combined company also announced that it would rebrand to be called Trapit moving forward.
Since Trapits founding in 2010, Nothhaft led strategy and product development, as well as marketing and business development at various times during his tenure, all with extensive involvement in every aspect of the business. As a co-founder of the company and the architect of the product, he is positioned for success as CEO. Nothhafts mix of product and operational experience will be instrumental in integrating and expanding upon the core products the company offers. The integration of the two products will lead to unprecedented capabilities for brands to engage with customers and prospects across channels, all based around high quality content and authentic person-to-person conversations.
“Its a privilege to lead the Trapit team into the next phase of our growth, said Nothhaft. Were in an age of brand saturation on social, an age where impersonal spray-and-pray tactics have displaced intimacy and trust. Brands that want to succeed on social media need to embrace the authenticity and person-to-person principles these networks were founded on. Trapit has a unique opportunity to help businesses implement initiatives that are authentic and yet still measurable and accountable to the bottom line. I look forward to achieving this vision with our team.
Nothhaft has a decade and a half of experience building and growing SaaS ventures. Prior to Trapit, Mr. Nothhaft was an entrepreneur in residence at SRI International and held several executive and senior product management and marketing positions at Webex (acquired by Cisco) and Everdream (acquired by Dell).
Were pleased to announce Hank as CEO of Trapit, said Will Stewart, general partner at Rogers Venture Partners. Hank brings a rare blend of technical expertise, marketing savvy and charisma that will be critical in leading the company to new heights. With his leadership, Trapit is poised to accomplish great things in the months ahead.
