Marketers know they need content. They know content can create more website traffic. But how much and what type of content works, how do they create it, and more importantly how do they measure it?  Our experts, including Chris Muckridge, Lorraine Ball, Michael Reynolds, Daniel Herndon and Lynnell Nixon weigh in!  Lunch at Ruth Chris included in price of ticket. Chris Muckridge is an accomplished writer who helps organizations and marketers sift through the clutter and connect with their audiences. Well­versed in creating content for all media, either online or offline, Chris has worked for agencies, marketers and as a freelancer. Chris earned his degree in advertising at Ball State University and has worked in the Indianapolis market, representing brands both large and small, since 1994. Daniel Herndon is an ad man, board member and a Principal at MilesHerndon, a Branding & Advertising Firm based in downtown Indianapolis, IN. He lives in the outer edge of the city with his wife, two daughters, dog and iPhone. Daniel formed a marketing firm, Redwall in November of 2008 following a career in the music business. Over the first few years, Redwall evolved from a catch all of bold marketing tactics to a strategic design firm focused on branding and brand strategy. In early 2015, a long time colleague in the industry Josh Miles approach Daniel about working together. In May, they formed MilesHerndon, to focus on deep impact, holistic branding, advertising and design. Lorraine Ball spent twenty years in corporate America, before she came to her senses. Frustrated by the resistance to change, indecision, and lack of entrepreneurial spirit as she climbed the corporate ladder, Lorraine gave up the fancy VP office, huge staff, and big budget. Today, you can find her at Roundpeg, a digital agency based in Carmel, Indiana. Along with an extraordinarily talented team including two full time office cats, she shares what she knows about marketing strategy, web design, content, inbound and email marketing and social media. Considered by the IBJ to be on of Indiana’s Women of Influence, she is committed to the local community, serving on the boards of the Indiana Small Business Development Center and the Indy Fringe Theater Festival. Lorraine has an MBA from the University of New York. Lynnell Nixon is an award­ winning writer with a background in healthcare, product development, and digital marketing. As Content Marketing Manager at Site Strategics, she helps clients find the balance between what is aesthetic and what is effective for their digital assets.
