The gUnify service gives users the ability to click to call from within their Google Apps (Google Mail, Google Calendar, Google Talk, Google Contacts). The service calls their SimpleSignal deskphone or mobile phone and connects the call.
Other key features include:
Logging: Voice communication activities (Call Duration, Date, Time, Notes, Contact Information) can then be logged directly and automatically to business application software such as CRM and project management apps.
Presence: The presence feature lets co-workers and managers know users are on the phone by automatically turning their Google chat status to red when theyre on the phone.
Contact Sync: automatically identifies telephone numbers from within Google Apps that are not associated with users Google contacts, allowing them to quickly identify the missing information from their Google Apps contact database.
Conference Calling: Users can schedule all of their conference calls right from within Gmail to their Google Calendar.
