"What's Next?" 2.0 SUNY Oswego's SBDC Event IDEAS FOR BUSINESS SUCCESS
Those who attended the “What’s Next?” SBDC event in March all gave it rave reviews. What’s Next 2.0 will be held on 9/5/2013 in Historic Sheldon Hall on the SUNY Oswego Campus. There are no classes that day so parking will not be an issue. (hooray!) Our keynote speaker is Krista Neher. Krista is a highly rated speaker on social media, internet marketing, marketing strategy, entrepreneurship, and personal branding online. She is the bestselling author of 3 books (including 1 textbook) on social media marketing, an international speaker and the CEO of Boot Camp Digital. She is a passionate, enthusiastic, energetic, engaging, and hilarious speaker.
Maritn Butts from Small Potatoes will also be there to share his expertise on creating and supporting sustainable locally owned, independent businesses and organizations. Martin Butts is a local food advocate, entrepreneur, writer, consultant, and the founder of Small Potatoes, a boutique consulting firm that specializes in working with small scale and start-up food producers. He has worked for the Northeast Organic Farming Association of New York doing education and outreach on a variety of food issues, and has previously served as the director of Syracuse University’s Community Test Kitchen, working with aspiring foodpreneurs to help them turn their product ideas into businesses.
The event is free! It is sponsored by the SUNY Oswego SBDC and OBCR’s Thrive Initiative.
